Lastly, I grouped everything before exporting it over, to keep my ProtoPie file clean. I also created a ‘confetti of hearts’ that we’ll use for the liking animation. In ProtoPie we don’t animate between a start and end state but instead change properties over time. The playbar has two rectangles, one with 30% opacity and one with 100% opacity. The heart has empty and filled versions stacked on top of each other. There’s a play button and a pause button on top of each other. I also made sure to include extra states I knew I’d need. I recreated the layout of the player from the Spotify iPhone app quickly using layout grids, Feather Icons and an image from Unsplash. ( You can also import from Sketch and Adobe XD.) I always set up my files in Figma and send them over to ProtoPie using the Figma import plugin. This expands the Quick Settings menu so that it covers the entire screen. Each part is a separate scene, so you can just focus on what’s new. Swipe down from the Quick Settings icons again. I find it really helpful to dive into a file to understand what’s going on, so you can follow along by duplicating my ProtoPie here. Most of the users we interviewed were existing clients. Its perfect for designers who want to quickly experiment with advanced interactions using variables, conditions, sensors and more. ProtoPie is a cross-platform prototyping tool that creates prototypes nearly as powerful as those made with code, with half of the efforts, and zero code.Users did not workout in their living rooms, most users worked out in their garages or outside, due to space. This was also regional as most customer were based in Sacramento, CA.With regard to time, people shifted their workout times due to family and work now being at home. Some more insights we got through this survey: Qualitative (User Interviews) I realized that most of the initial assumptions were correct. To validate these assumptions and to understand the idea of use-of-time, equipment and technology used I went into the research mode. Being at home during the COVID-19 crisis changed the landscape of the at-home fitness space more rapidly than anyone anticipated.
